I’m Heather Fitzpatrick Button. I am an Architect who designs, writes, and creates environments both real and imaginary. Knitter, photographer, designer and writer, I enjoy creativity in multiple forms.
I graduated in 2007 with my Masters in Architecture. My thesis specialized in design for supportive housing for mental health recovery. You can read the abstract here. You can download it from the University of Waterloo library website under the name Heather Christine Fitzpatrick.
I generally post poetry once a week, status updates monthly, and the occasional personal essay.
I welcome debate. You don’t have to agree with me, but if you don’t, please be respectful in your comments. There is no need to develop an online shouting match.
This is my blog. I retain the right to delete your comments. Quoting Michael Hyatt’s comments policy:
“Specifically, I will delete your comments if you post something that is, in my sole opinion, (a) snarky; (b) off-topic; (c) libelous, defamatory, abusive, harassing, threatening, profane, pornographic, offensive, false, misleading, or which otherwise violates or encourages others to violate my sense of decorum and civility or any law, including intellectual property laws; or (d) “spam,” i.e., an attempt to advertise, solicit, or otherwise promote goods and services. You may, however, post a link to your site or your most recent blog post.
