I am participating in the April Poem-a-Day (PAD) challenge from Writer’s Digest. My goal is not to inundate you with posts, but to provide a forum for feedback if you want to challenge me to push myself further in my writing.
For today’s prompt, write an instructional poem. Your instructional poem could list instructions. Or it could capture an instructional moment.

Day 7
Ranger
Deftly moving
squeezing through
spaces and tunnels.
tight fit
on alert
senses fixed on my prey.
Something moves.
grab it by the vitals.
heart beat pulses
but the scent is off.
Keep moving
searching endlessly.
Off in the distance
pulsing.
Irregular beats
made worse
by the echo
of it’s large mass.
Yes, this is the one.
Silently approach
through the shadows
of the blind spot
touch the intruder
slowly put my hand through
until we become one
and l kill it
from the inside out.
