woven
She whispers words,
silent prayers woven
along with thread.
Intricate layers,
symbols, symmetrically
placed in columns,
collected together,
keeping its wearer
warm against the cold.

For today’s prompt, write a crafty poem. My kids have been running around the house with pipe cleaners, tape, and scissors (ok, they don’t run with the scissors–at least when I’m watching them).
