who do I approach?
Where do I turn when you decide
you’ve had enough?
Who do you notify
when you cut us off?
All the normal lines of communication
result is a busy tone,
or worse, an operator’s voice,
unable to connect us.
Unable to leave a message,
I can only assume you’re gone,
and wait for the rumour mill
to catch up.
